This course introduces students to foundational engineering concepts, study skills, and strategies for success in college-level engineering programs. Students develop essential academic and professional skills needed to thrive as engineering majors, including time management, problem-solving, and effective study habits.
A major component of the course is a comprehensive design project in which students apply the Engineering Design Process to solve real-world engineering problems. Through this experience, students learn how engineers think, analyze problems, and develop practical solutions.
